The Doobie Brothers Phoenix Concert reviews
Dobbie's Still Good
"An hour and 20 minutes played Doobie's. They are still one of my guitar bands favorite and had four out front all night. Energy level of the band was still high and music was good. I liked their second song in the set, but didn't recognize it. They played at least one new song - Chateu - and it sounded like The Doobie Brothers vintage. Only complaint is that I wished they would have played another 4 or 5 songs. Another Lonely Park Another Sunday, Southcity Midnight Lady, or some of their other vintage hits I would rather have heard. They played a blues song and I would have loved another 15-20. 80 minutes may be as long as they can comfortably go, but still, I would have loved another. Still a great band. Tom Johnson and Patrick Simmons are still fine musicians."
